Do you experience gas, bloating, diarrhea, heartburn or constipation
on a regular basis? If you do, then you are most likely experiencing
these conditions because of poor digestion.
By definition, digestion is the breaking down of food both mechanically
and chemically, in order for the contents to be absorbed by the body.

is a necessity in aiding digestion. It not only does this, but keeps all

One of the foods you should cut back on considerably, but which many
people don't want to live without, are meats. They are hard for the body
to break down. The stomach must produce more acid to digest it.
Leaving out saturated fats and oils, sugary and starchy foods will be
a good start to better digestion. Dairy products are also a culprit in
bloating and can be difficult to digest for some people. Those that find
they are lactose intolerant should look for dairy substitutes that the
body can handle better, such as soy milks, rice or oat milks, and fat-free,
soy-based cheeses. Poor digestion leads to a weakened immune system,
skin disorders, food allergies, autoimmune diseases, inflammation,
bloating, nausea, and overgrowth of some yeasts in the body.
Eating plenty of vegetables and some fruits as well as foods high
in fiber will promote good digestion and an overall healthier you.
Green tea and other organic teas as well as plenty of water will
also aid in digestion and help you to feel less bloated after meals.
